Today we got a new car.  It is very nice.  It has builtin child seats.  It has grocery bag holders.  It has an overabundance of cupholders.  It has a ton of space.  The seats are soft.  The color combined with the power of the air conditioning makes it comfotable in any weather.  The back is perfect for sitting and playing video games.  I love it!

Star Wars

Sunday, July 23rd, 2006

My grandfather asked my brother and I what we wanted.  My brother said he wanted the Death Star.  I wanted the entire Imperial Fleet.  My brother thinks that the Death Star could kill the Imperial Fleet.  I think the Imperial fleet, with all of the Star Destroyers and everything could kill the death star.  The Death Start would smash the Star Destroyers one by one.  While it killed them one by one, for each shot the Death start got off, the Star Destroyers would get off 500 shots.  In addition, the Star Destroyers haev so many troops on them that they could just board the Death Star and take it over.

My brother’s room

Thursday, July 20th, 2006

Today I had to clean my brother’s room. This is annoying mainly because I have cleaned it for him while he played with a friend or his toys instead of helping twice already in the past two weeks. This time, I had to clean his room for him before I could get back on my computer. While I cleaned his room, he was playing with the toys-sometimes AFTER I already cleaned them up-or watching TV-again, while I cleaned HIS room-or swinging things around the room, almost hitting me multiple times.  At one point, I tapped him on the shoulderto get his attention-it was no harder hten you would push with a pen on paper- and he yelled so loud that dad came up and was mad at me.  I ended up getting in trouble.  Earlier, we went next door to play in our neighbor’s pool. He was swimming, but I could not find my swimsuit, so I sat and pet their dog. I wandered around a bit as well. While I was wandering, my neighbor and brother decided to splash me. My neighbor stopped when I asked him to, but my brother kept splashing, even after I said “Stop splashing me, I’m not in a swimsuit and I have headphones in my pocket” three times. He would have kept going, except for the fact that I went home. All this is made even more annoying by the fact that earlier I let him use my computer for three hours. I got up early so I could teach him how to use the program he wanted to use, then went to summer school. This is how he answered-by splahing me even after I said to stop, and refusing to help me clean HIS room, an messing it up even as I cleaned it. That was the last time he is going to use my computer for a while.

I love the library.  They have so many books, and I love books.  They have comics.  I love Dilbert and Garfield comics in particular.  They also have novels.  I enjoy the Dune series by Frank Herbert.  I also enjoy the Dragonriders of Pern series by Anne McCaffrey.  Both of those are Sci-Fi books.  I love science fiction.  I went to the library the other day.  I got two books.  One was called House Harkonnen, by Frank Herbert.  The other was called The Starship Titanic, by Douglas Adams.  He is also a favorite author of mine.  He writes Sci-Fi Comedy.

Summer School

Monday, July 17th, 2006

I have to go to summer school.  Normally, in the summer, I sleep in.  But because of summer school, I have to getup early.  I get out at 11:30.  It’s easy, but time consuming.  I would much rather be at home!  I get up at 7:30, get dressed, go to school,  stay until 11:30,then go home.  While there, I do a program called Plato.  It’s easy but, like I said, time consuming!

Today, I had almost no internet.  I got up around ten’o'clock in the morning to help my grandfather mow the lawn.  However, it turned out that he had already mowed.  So it turned out that I had gotten for no reason!  Fortunately, later in the day we went to the library.  While there, I checked out a REALLY funny Dilbert book.  Unfortunately, when I got home, dad decided that there would be no media today.  Fortunately, at the end of the day I got my computer back.  It was an up and down day.

Today, I have gotten very little done so far.  I got up at eight’o'clock and ate some cereal, but then wen tback to bed because it is cold in this house in the morning.  I then slept until twelve’o'clock, when Mom made me get up.  I had to do the dishes before I could use my computer, so I did them.  It really did not take me long at all.  I have been on the computer4 since then.

This summer, I have a LOT of time.  For the most part, I spend it on the computer, paying StarCraft on the Internet.  I also sleep a lot.  I am actually playing StarCraft right now!  Mom wants me to blog for every hour of computer, but I often forget.  Mom is not happy about that.  Of course, if I sit in one place for too long, then I start to get hot.  I should leave th edoor open so this does not happen, but if I do leave my door open, then Evan comes in and gets into things, Noah comes in and wants to talk about his games, Amy come sin sometimes, and I get no peace!  Not that my family is inconvinient, far from it, but i do wish that mom and dad would knock, Evan would not go for the buttons on my computer and ignore all else, or dump my water bottle.  I love my family very much, but I also enjoy my peace so I can play StarCraft.  Of course, if I had to choose between family and peace and quiet so I can play StarCraft, I would immediately choose family.  I still want my peace and quiet though.  Of course I would also willingly stop playin for a few hours to play Axis and Allies, which is a very fun board game.  I don’t get to play it often though, because it can easily take 4 days.  The last time I played, it took 3 days!  It is near dinnertime now I think, and dinnertime is one of the main times when I am not on my computer.  I sometimes go to the store with family, and almost everty Friday I spend the night at my grandparent’s house.  I NEVER, EVER turn down an oppurtunity to go to the pool, becuase I really enjoy swimming.  I think dad is right.  I do need to balance my time better between computer and other things.

My next door neighbor and I are friends.  We get along well.  Whenever I go over there, we sit and talk about video games, DND, or whatever comes to mind.  Sometimes, we play a board game.  We occasionally play video games together, although not often.  Usually, we are watching his kids and my brother and sister and talking.  Whenever his dog escapes, if I am home I help get her back.  He and I enjoy being friends.
