I went to the Blogfest at Calhoun’s last night. It was pretty fun. I got there not wanting to have come. So I sat at the other end of the table with my iPod. Then I played my DS a little…but it died. So I listened to my iPod a little more. Then I ate a strawberry shortcake and was happy. So I listened to people talking while i played with Evan’s etchasketch-thingy. Then I talked to someone who plays a lot of computer games. I ended up having a lot of fun.
Easter was fun. I got up, and had to go downstairs for a while until granny and grandaddy got here. When it started, I opened up my basket, and got Flags of our Fathers DVD, which I have wanted. Then we searched for eggs. Everybody got a ton of candy. Near the end, when mom and dad were gathering up the hardboiled eggs, Sarah rehid one…and made mom and dad find it with “hot-cold” searching. Dad said, “It’s not quite the same when you’re on the receiving end…” Everyone had a good time.. The lunch was great-Dad made some sort of pineapple pie or something, I don’t knwo what it was, but it was GOOD!
Easter is always fun.
